Top tips: Inflatable Battles
Our Friends & Family Day provided a showcase for the skills our paddlers have in controlling their inflatables. A series…
We are a friendly club based in the beautiful setting of the Seven Sisters Country Park, between Eastbourne & Seaford on the banks of the Cuckmere River. We may be called a canoe club but we also do kayaking, sea-kayaking and paddle boarding (SUP). During the outdoor season (from April-October), the Club meets every Sunday from 9.00am to about 12.30pm with lots of away trips and social activities throughout the year.
CVCC is a family-friendly club, open to everyone. Do get in touch with any questions.
If you are new to paddling, our experienced coaches will introduce you to the basics and help develop your skills. For more experienced paddlers, we offer an excellent range of waters from the flat meanders, the tidal section of the Cuckmere river, and the sea (with surf – weather permitting) at Cuckmere Haven Bay.
There are regular Club trips for all levels of paddler, from day trips to the River Medway, to a weekend at River Wye and various whitewater courses. See our Events page for more detail.
The Club has equipment that can be used by members, so all you need to do is join.
All our coaches are British Canoeing qualified, DBS checked and insured. They are all volunteers and give their time freely to the club, making us a friendly and supportive group.
Not sure if you want to join? There are five ways in which you can give the Club a try before you commit. Find out more.
