The Chair has the final word! But Pat leads the committee in discussions so mutual agreement is reached. She also makes sure we have good communications with Buzz Active (our landlords) and represents the Club within the wider local community.
Our Club Coaches
All our coaches are volunteers. Without them, our Club would not function.
They freely give their time, expertise and encouragement to help us all improve, whether we are novice paddlers or looking to hone our skills. They all have a Coaching or Paddlesport Instructor qualification, First Aid and are DBS checked.
Club Coaches & Paddlesport Instructors
As the title suggests, the Equipment Officer looks after the Club’s equipment. Darren leads an annual stock-taker and Barn tidy. He organises any new purchases and repairs needed. Darren also processes any member requests for equipment hire.
Our Junior Officers represent the voice of our younger members. They recommend events, equipment and training that junior members want. Most importantly, they are a friendly face down at the Club for any junior members. Megan has a particular focus on members aged 12-16.
