If you have got some paddling experience and want to formally test your skills, take the British Canoeing Paddle Discover Award.
The Club will lead you through training and assessment in a single session.
The Discover Award takes you on the next steps towards becoming an independent paddler, for a fun and safe time on the water. You will develop an understanding of the factors which affect your paddling; build your decision-making and practical skills, and gain more confidence on the water.
The award can be done in a kayak, canoe or SUP but for this session, it will be for paddleboards (SUP).
This Award is only open to Members as we subsidise the cost by our coaches providing their time free as volunteers. Cost £20 per person.
