This award is the next step after Paddle Discover. Explore focuses on developing your skills as an independent paddler.
CVCC has developed a curriculum for the award that suits our water and enables members to develop their skills, awareness of the paddling environment and decision-making.
Our coaches will lead you through training and assessment over two sessions so you need to be able to attend both Sundays.
The award can be done in a kayak, SUP or canoe. Read more in Steve’s blog.
This Award is only open to Members as we subsidise the cost by our coaches providing their time free as volunteers. Cost £35 for two coach-led sessions and British Canoeing certification. Book below for both parts of course A.
