This award is the next step after Paddle Discover. Explore focuses on developing your skills as an independent paddler.
CVCC has developed a curriculum for the award that suits our water and enables members to develop their skills, awareness of the paddling environment and decision-making.
Our coaches will lead you through training and assessment over two sessions so you need to be able to attend both Sundays.
The award can be done in a kayak, SUP or canoe. Read more in Steve’s blog.
Booking your place on A1 as this date is the second part. This Award is only open to Members as we subsidise the cost by our coaches providing their time free as volunteers.
