The Club will be running pool sessions throughout the whole off-season, and this year will be working in partnership with Hastings & District Canoe Club.
Sessions will be on Thursdays (8.30-9.30pm) run by HDCC and Saturdays (7.30-8.30pm) run by CVCC
Pool sessions are a great opportunity to improve your skills on the water and build confidence in your boat. It is a warm environment compared to paddling outside at this time of the year, you’ll need only swimwear and maybe a T shirt to paddle in – no heavy kit! You will be more prepared to do things that you are more likely to get wet at – capsizes, braces, rolling and rescues. And the water is clean!
Dates are as follows (return to the main calendar to find the date you’d like to book):
November: Sat 20th | Thurs 25th
December: Sat 4th | Thurs 9th | Sat 18th
January: Thurs 6th | Sat 15th | Thurs 20th | Sat 29th
February: Thurs 3rd | Sat 12th | Thurs 17th | Sat 26th
March: Thurs 3rd | Sat 12th | Thurs 17th | Sat 26th
NB: Thursdays (8.30-9.30pm) run by HDCC and Saturdays (7.30-8.30pm) run by CVCC.
Please arrive and be ready to enter the building 15 minutes before the session starts. Changing rooms are available to use.
Non members of CVCC and HDCC can attend a maximum of 6 sessions as a non member throughout the year.
CVCC members: Boats and paddles can be loaned out for free. If you need kit, please contact David Lynch on email@example.com
Hastings members, please contact your club representative for loan kit.
Note the pool entrance is not the main school entrance but is clearly marked off Penland Road, next to Bexhill College Sport Centre (postcode TN40 2JG).
The building is marked in yellow and the entrance to the car park is marked with the blue arrow. Click on the map to enlarge.
