CVCC have been invited to join WAM for their annual BBQ and boat demo day.
WAM meet at their Marlin site next to the weir at Yalding.
You will need to take all personal kit with you – helmet, cag, buoyancy aid, paddle…
If you would like to borrow a club boat / equipment, please send an email, with a minimum of 10 days’ notice to equipment@cvcc.org.uk. The email should include what boat and equipment you are asking to borrow, for what purpose and for how long.
There will be plenty of boats to try down at the Marlin Site that day provided by Kent Canoes and Squarerock.
The site is unique as there is something for everyone, flat water with a little flow to play around in and then if there is a release of water from the sluice, some faster moving water, plus the little surf wave at the weir.
There is no cost for this event, but please book a place so that we know how many people are going.
