A paddle for all members on the Thames taking in Hampton Court.
The trip will be for SUP and kayak. There will be a bit of dodging other boats of all sizes. Plus a lot of swans!
We will be paddling from YMCA Hawker to Hampton Court and back. Last year, it was about a 2-hour paddle up, then a picnic stop for lunch outside Hampton Court, and then a 1.5-hour paddle back. So we don’t need a shuttle.
Parking is free at the YMCA, but it is the park & ride for Kingston so can get busy after 8.45.
It is then a short portage to a slipway onto the river. I suggest meeting at 8.30am to get on the water for 9.00.

There are toilets at the YMCA. There are toilets, cafe and pubs near Hampton Court.
