A paddle on the Thames taking in Hampton Court.
The trip will be for SUP and kayak. There will be some portage at locks and quite a bit of dodging other boats of all sizes. Plus a lot of swans!
We will be paddling from YMCA Hawker to Moseley Lock and back. We can go beyond the lock if people have the energy.
Parking is free at the YMCA but they are a Park & Ride on Saturdays which opens at 8am. So we need to be in the car park for 8.30am. It is then a short portage to a slipway onto the river.
There are toilets at the YMCA but no cafe. There are toilets, cafe and pubs all near the lock.
