This is a lovely, all-day paddle.
It is about 9 miles. All are welcome but you need to be able to kayak/SUP at a reasonable pace and for that distance. It is a peer paddle, which means each paddler is responsible for themselves and those around them.
Bring lunch and snacks. There are a few canoe shoots at locks to build up your kayaking skills and have some fun.
We will need to sort out a shuttle so everyone needs to be at the car park for 7.30am as parking can get very busy from that point on. There are toilets at the car park and there is a cafe at Paddle Cabin towards the end.
There is also a pub (hurray!) at the end.
You can hire a boat from the Club; complete a loan form. You will need to get the boat from the Barn to the Tonbridge car park yourself.
It is an early start as parking gets busy.
